We are a key player in the Waste Management, Operations, Administration, Logistics market, based in Sammamish.

The role offers $41k-$54.6k/Year (approximately $4k/Month).
About the position
As an Operations Specialist at Waste Management, you will provide essential clerical and administrative support to departmental managers while assisting in the coordination of daily operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that all operational aspects run smoothly, including the recording and reporting of data. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues, which are vital for maintaining the efficiency of our operations. Your daily tasks will include creating, distributing, and closing out customer tickets, as well as maintaining and distributing department-related information. Communication is key in this role, as you will liaise with other supervisors and managers regarding operational and dispatch issues, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned. This position does not have supervisory duties, allowing you to focus on supporting the team and enhancing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues.
- Creates, distributes, and closes-out customer tickets on a daily basis.
- Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis.
- Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operations and/or dispatch issues.
- Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by the department manager.
- Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor.
- Assists with data collection and reporting required for incentive pay programs.
- Communicates with customers about service issues as needed.
