Job Overview

A Caring Connection is seeking compassionate nurses to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an adult patient. Full-time, part-time and flexible schedules are available.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and nutrition via PEG (G)
  • Provide trach care, suctioning, and maintenance
  • Perform respiratory treatments (nebulizer, etc.)
  • Dressing changes
  • Adhere to the patient's plan of care
  • One-person total transfer
  • Client has a service dog

Training

Training is provided for new nurses and nurses who would like to brush up on their skills-free of charge.

Experience

Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures relevant to private duty nursing. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families. A valid nursing license is required, along with any additional certifications relevant to specialized care areas.
