This is primarily a Part-time position.

This position requires a strong skillset in relevant areas and a proactive approach.

The salary for this part-time role is in the range of $17-$22/Hour (approximately $20.6k/Year), depending on qualifications.

About the Job

We are looking for a compassionate and caring caregiver to provide hands-on care and companionship for our father in his 80s. He recently had a foot amputation, has a history of falls, and needs someone to be with him to ensure he is safe and okay. His wife will also be home but is recovering from knee surgery and isn't strong enough to provide the necessary support. The primary need is for a companion to be present and help out if needed. We would prefer a caregiver who can speak Spanish, as our parents are primarily Spanish-speaking.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and engage in conversation.
• Ensure the safety of our father and be present to prevent falls.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.

Schedule:

We are looking for part-time help on Saturdays and Sundays. The hours are flexible (approximately 6-8 hours per day). We are open to a morning/afternoon shift (e.g., 8 AM - 4 PM) or an afternoon/evening shift (e.g., 1 PM - 9 PM).
