Job Summary:

Kelly Services relies on its Delivery Representative to play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and secure delivery of documents, packages, and other items to clients and businesses. This position necessitates traits such as punctuality, reliability, and careful item handling.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to recipients or businesses securely and on schedule.
• Perform tasks related to delivery operations, like loading and unloading materials, to verify the correctness and integrity of all deliveries.
• Verify orders both before and after delivery to ascertain order completeness, accurate charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the central dispatch unit to stay informed about delivery instructions or any changes in route or schedule.
• Obtain payments and signatures from patrons as required and oversee the processing of transaction records.
• Regularly review the delivery vehicle's maintenance status to ensure proper functioning and promptly inform supervisors of any abnormalities or accidents that occur.
• Roam through different roads within the city while abiding by all traffic laws and rules.
• Ensure that the privacy and security of delivered items are preserved.

Qualifications:

• Fulfilling the criteria for a high school diploma or a similar standing.
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver.
• Possessing a professional driver’s license that is valid and a driving record that is clean.
• Expertise in integrating GPS tools with knowledge of the surrounding area to navigate with precision.
• Adept at managing tight schedules through effective organization and time management skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal interactions and communication strategies, particularly in the realm of customer service.
• Ability to lift and relocate heavy items along with the endurance to stay on feet for prolonged periods.
• Capacity to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, when the situation calls for it.
• Talent for sustaining productivity under pressure and throughout varying weather situations.
• Enhancing problem-solving abilities to effectively address delivery concerns.
